History

2025: Launching

In mid-October 2025, a new patrol ship of the 3rd rank of the modified project 10410 Svetlyak was launched at the Almaz Shipbuilding Company (St. Petersburg). The vessel with tail number 509 is intended for the Coast Guard of the Border Service of the FSB of Russia.

The ship has a total displacement of 375 tons. The length is 49.5 meters, the width is 9.2 meters (the largest). Three diesel engines M520 Zvezda with a capacity of 3971 kW (5400 horsepower) are installed. The maximum speed reaches 29 knots (approximately 53.7 km/h). Cruising range - up to 2200 miles (over 4 thousand km at 13 nodes), autonomy - up to 10 days. Electricity is generated by one 200 kW DGR2A-200/1500 diesel generator and two 100 kW DGF2A-100/1500 diesel generators.

The armament includes artillery mounts AK-176M (152 rounds) and AK-630M (3000 rounds), MANPADS of the Igla type, two grenade launchers MRG-1 or DP-64, two bomb launchers, etc. The vessel is equipped with modern navigation, communication and surveillance systems, including the MR-123-01 or MR-123-02ts firing control radar, the Buran-6E or Rubin-E communication complex, the MR-212/201 and Liman navigation radars. Radio communication facilities are used that meet the requirements of the GMSSB (Global Maritime Disaster Communication System).

The Project 10410 border patrol ship is designed to carry out patrol service in the coastal zone. The vessel can operate in difficult weather conditions, performing a wide range of tasks, including: control of the state border, protection of natural resources, coastal communications and artificial structures, protection of ships from attack by terrorist saboteurs, as well as repelling an armed attack by an air and underwater enemy.[1]
