Inclusion in all versions of Deckhouse Kubernetes Platform

Inclusion in the register of Russian software

The free monitoring system Deckhouse Prom++, developed by Flant, is officially included in the Unified Register of Russian Software (No. 28605). The developer announced this on July 25, 2025.

Deckhouse Prom++ is an open source system from the Deckhouse team, which is its own redesigned version of the Prometheus monitoring system. The developers rewrote the key components, reducing memory consumption by up to 10 times compared to the classic Prometheus. The product is already used in more than 600 clusters as part of the Deckhouse Kubernetes Platform, processing an average of 10 million active metrics per cluster.

Deckhouse Prom++ is fully compatible with Prometheus on API, query language, and storage format. Prom++ is suitable for collecting metrics from various sources: Kubernetes clusters, virtual machines, physical servers and other infrastructures - without changes in the settings.

It is very important to note that Deckhouse Prom++ is already a proven solution that brings real benefits not only to Deckhouse Kubernetes Platform users. We have already received positive feedback from several companies that replaced Prometheus with Prom++ in their monitoring systems, - said Konstantin Aksyonov, director of the Deckhouse development department at Flant.

Source code Deckhouse Prom++ is available under license Apache 2.0 - it is located on the the Russian platform and mirror. GitHub Deckhouse Prom++ can be installed in any Kubernetes cluster, replacing the standard Prometheus. At the same time, everything, dashboards alert rules and exporters will continue to work unchanged.

The entry of Prom++ in the register of domestic software was made on the basis of an order of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation dated June 23, 2025 according to the minutes of the meeting of the expert council dated June 10, 2025 No. 420pr.
