2023: Production Launch

At the end of May 2023, it became known about the launch by the Turkish company Hayat Group of a new line for the production of paper towels at the Kaluga plant. More than 150 million rubles were invested in this project, the regional development agency of the Kaluga region reported.

The automated line has launched the production of paper towels under the Focus brand, designed for use "outside the home" - in hotels, restaurants, enterprises, educational and medical institutions, business centers, etc. The towels are said to be made from 100% cellulose, which Hayat Russia purchases exclusively from Russian suppliers.

All products are produced in group polyethylene packaging, which increases the safety of the product and ease of transportation. In Russia, such a packaging technology was first used by Hayat at a plant in Kaluga, the Kaluga Region Regional Development Agency noted.

With the launch of the new line, the company expects to meet the demand for high-quality paper and hygienic products, as well as increase the availability of its products in Russia and the CIS countries.
