FortiADC-300E

FortiADC-300E is the highly effective controller of delivery of applications (ADC) for networks of the average size combining functions of balancing of loading, additional opportunities of routing of traffic and support of HTTPS.

Availability of a new solution was announced by the press service of developer company on August 26, 2013.

Background

The solution FortiADC-300E is based on the solution Equalizer E370LX of Coyote Point. The highly effective solution is expected an average segment of networks and is the first in price relation and qualities in the class.

Basic functions of FortiADC-300E

• Performance in a class of devices for networks of the average size: up to 4.8 GB / with at the transport layer and up to 75 thousand client requests per second at the level of applications

• 7500 HTTPS transactions per second that allows to relieve traffic at the level of applications, to increase the speed of reaction of applications and to reduce their delay

• Optimal gateway facilities at the level of applications give ample opportunities on granular management behind traffic, despite of complexity of applications or implementation of infrastructure of a data processing center.

• Support of a set of methods of ensuring high availability of operation of applications at the expense of various methods of ensuring fault tolerance, including the most effective with a set of active devices. Such approach allows to exclude idle standing of elements of network.

• Possibilities of tunneling IPv6 6-in-4 help the organizations to implement a stack of IPv6 protocols at the level of delivery of applications, leaving IPv4 transport on transition time.
