2025: Product Announcement
The Russian company Fplus has announced the production of motherboards for printers and multifunctional devices in Russia. The electronics manufacturer's motherboard has been included in the catalog of industrial products manufactured in the country, which confirms the product's compliance with all established requirements. The company announced this on July 18, 2025.
The corresponding registry entry number 10644075 dated June 16, 2025 appeared in the State Information System of Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Inclusion in the official register is confirmation of the compliance of Fplus printed circuit boards for printing equipment with all the requirements of Decree of the Government of Russia No. 719.
The production of motherboards will be carried out at a contract production site in the Moscow region. Localization of the production of electronic components in Russia is an important step in the development of the domestic electronics industry and reducing dependence on imported supplies.
The motherboard is the main printed circuit board of the device and performs several critical functions. It is responsible for forming an image for printing, provides control over the electromechanical units of the printing device, and also controls the built-in scanner in multifunctional devices.
Nikolai Gerasimov, Fplus Deputy General Director for Printing Devices, noted the company's desire to create a fully Russian printer. Nikolai Gerasimov stressed that this is a technically complex product for which all the necessary electronic component base has not yet been produced in Russia.[1]
