The Fujitsu company announced in November, 2012 a new solution based on a cloud service which will help the European companies with observance of the future requirements to an energy audit. The Fujitsu Eco Track service available through shop of online applications of Fujitsu (Fujitsu Cloud Store) is urged to give an opportunity to the European companies easily and effectively to manage energy consumption accounting which soon will become obligatory after adoption of the directive of EEC on energy efficiency.

The directive of EEC on energy efficiency was legislatively accepted by European Parliament last month for the purpose of increasing efforts of member countries for more effective use of the electric power at all steps of a power chain. The directive means that all companies numbering workers more than 250 or an annual turnover of 50 million euros kept energy consumption account. Energy audits will become obligatory at the beginning of 2013 in the countries with more tough legislation, for example to Germany and Great Britain. As the companies of Europe begin to carry out these energy audits ordered by the governments, they will be encumbered with the additional resources necessary for a compliance with law, and they will need adequate means for effective solution of this new business challenge.

By software of Fujitsu Eco Track it is created based on developments of Fujitsu on support of similar requirements to an energy audit of the Japanese consumers within more than 10 years. It holds an advantageous position in the market and helps the European companies to solve this problem of the new reporting. By software it is capable to collect easily all information necessary for support of process of audit and ensuring compliance to requirements, and at the same time saves to the companies both time, and money. Fujitsu Eco Track will also help the companies to reduce costs for the electric power and to effectively plan future schemes of energy consumption with absolute transparency — and at the same time it has capability to define places for potential improvement.

Working at the Fujitsu Global Cloud platform, the Fujitsu Eco Track service supports several languages, the ISO standards and laws of EEC. It gives to the companies the chance to easily show compliance to requirements and to use tax benefits which can be available. In the first release planned for the beginning of 2013, the software will be available in the English and German languages which localization and on other European languages will follow.

For the solution of various tasks of the companies four versions of Fujitsu Eco Track — in the range from initial level to the full-function corporate version with unlimited opportunities for creation of the reporting are available to the companies with difficult requirements to providing the reporting. Fujitsu offers policy of updating "without binding in time" with free data movement that the companies could pass to higher version if necessary. The Fujitsu Eco Track service offers users capital investment with zero risk thanks to capability easily to export or import the saved-up data of the company for any period at any time.

Five versions of software of Fujitsu Eco Track will be available since April 1 on the Fujitsu Cloud Store portal at first to users from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The policy of updating with free data migration will allow the companies to upgrade "at any time" to higher version in case of need. The prices begin with 2500 euros a year for the version of the Standard Edition of initial level and with 8000 euros for the version of the Professional Edition.
