2018: Updating of a line of the ESPRIMO PC

On May 24, 2018 the Fujitsu company provided generation of the multipurpose ESPRIMO personal computers of a compact form factor intended for stationary work at office. The updated ESPRIMO PC family provides higher speed of work thanks to the Intel processors Core of the 8th generation and acceleration of data transmission between the PC and peripheral devices using 10-gigabit USB port.

Line of the Fujitsu ESPRIMO PC

The line of desktop PCs Fujitsu ESPRIMO includes the compact energy efficient systems and is intended for corporate users. Devices differ in a variety of scenarios of use thanks to ample opportunities of upgrade and simplicity of operation. The updated series of ESPRIMO devices offers users higher performance and acceleration of processing of graphics due to use in the systems of chipsets Intel of H310 and Q370. In ESPRIMO memory Intel Optane SSD which provides the speed of work of memory at the level of solid state drives when using inexpensive and capacious hard drives is used, noted in Fujitsu.

The updated line of ESPRIMO includes several models of compact PCs. They can be attached to back face of the monitor or to set so that the PC body it was not noticeable. Two most compact models of the ESPRIMO PC – the universal ESPRIMO D538 system and the high-performance ESPRIMO D738 PC – have the volume of the body of 8 liters.

According to the statement of Fujitsu, when developing these systems the company paid special attention to decrease in total cost of ownership due to expansion of opportunities of upgrade of the PCs. For example, in use the computer can be upgraded, having installed modules of memory of bigger volume. For this purpose it is enough to open a special compartment on the body. Opportunities for setup of a configuration and the solution DeskView allow to reduce expenses on deployment and provide flexible management with systems.

Fujitsu noted features of desktop PCs ESPRIMO:

• Silent work – the low level of noise, the reduced energy consumption and high energy efficiency
• Average energy consumption makes 40 W. The active mode with low power consumption allows to save 40-60%
• Optional Intel Standard Manageability (ISM) technology for the ESPRIMO D738 and ESPRIMO P758 models

The ESPRIMO P and ESPRIMO D models are available to acquisition since the end of June, the ESPRIMO K model – since the end of July, and the ESPRIMO Q model – from the middle of August, 2018. Cost depends on the region and a configuration.
