SinoRay is a software product for modeling and designing optical components and optical systems. The company's solution GMPT is important software for the research and development of optoelectronic components and the integration of photon systems, display panels and optical films in the EDA/TCAD industry.

2023: Integration with C3D Toolkit

The Chinese company GMPT has licensed C3D Toolkit to develop its SinoRay solution. C3D Toolkit is a specialized software development tool (SDK) responsible for constructing, editing, visualizing and converting geometric models. C3D Labs (S3D Labs) announced this on July 7, 2023.

The expertise of mathematicians at C3D Labs will help develop the three-dimensional capabilities of SinoRay and speed up its output to a different technological level. The C3D Toolkit for July 2023 covers almost all the tasks facing GMPT. The collaboration plans to adapt the C3D Modeler and C3D Vision modules for optics tasks: curves and surfaces, attributes, rendering a large number of objects.
