2024: Gamma 2024.2 with "Guardant" License Manager

GAMMA Tech has released the GAMMA CAD update version 2024.2. The changes extend the functionality of the system and improve its reliability. The company announced this on November 28, 2024.

This release introduces the Guardant License Manager, which provides flexible management. Users can choose between fixed and network licenses. License migration is supported, as well as the use of software or hardware keys (provided on request).

The finite element method has gained additional capabilities: now the roughness of metals is taken into account using the Huray and Groiss models. Calculation functionality with periodic boundary conditions is implemented. Also in the version there is a solver based on physical optics, which allows you to calculate the effective scattering surface (EPR) for conductive bodies, which allows you to calculate the radar visibility of objects of large electrical sizes: aircraft, ships, etc.

The user interface has become even more convenient thanks to the customization of model view control. There are control settings mice with and the ability to select pre-installed profiles for work that take into account user experience in foreign packages.

Special attention is paid to documentation: new project examples and training materials have been added to the program.

In recent years, there have been changes in the Russian market for the design of electronic devices and microwave systems, where foreign solutions have dominated for a long time. Under these conditions, it became critical to ensure technological sovereignty in the field of computer-aided design systems. The answer to this call was CAD "GAMMA." The release of version 2024.2 marks an important stage in the development of CAD. This is the first release released after the completion of the transformation of the project into a commercial product, - said Roman Tikhonov, CEO of GAMMA Tech, ITG Corporation. }}
