Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 support

GAMMA TECH"" has released an update CAD to "GAMMA." Key changes include official support for operating system Microsoft Windows 7 SP1. Now users can install and use on software workstations with this version of the OS, which is especially true for organizations with an established one. The IT infrastructure developer announced this on August 4, 2025.

Update 2025.2 is already available to users. In addition, the developer significantly redesigned the network licensing system based on a virtual machine with Guardant and ensured a strict limit on the number of simultaneous work sessions, regardless of the number of connected workplaces on the local network. The system is completely autonomous and does not require an Internet connection. In addition, support has been added for installing client desktops on virtual machines, which opens up opportunities for using GAMMA CAD in enterprise and cloud environments.

With each release we strive to make CAD "GAMMA" even more flexible and convenient tool for engineers. Support for Windows 7 and advanced network licensing capabilities are our response to real user requests, - said Roman Tikhonov, CEO of GAMMA Tech.

Version 2025.1 with optimized main menu structure

GAMMA TECH has improved the interface of the GAMMA CAD product. The company simplified the structure of the main menu, upgraded the toolbar and expanded the functionality of drop-down lists. The company announced this on May 27, 2025.

In version 2025.1 of CAD "GAMMA," the developers drew attention to the structure of the toolbar and redesigned it, as well as updated the icons for logical grouping of commands and quick access to popular functions. Significant changes affected the section with educational materials. The updated menu structure has made the navigation of training content more visual, which is important for novice users and educational organizations. The functionality of the drop-down menus in the Parametric Analysis and Optimization Analysis sections has also been expanded. To fine-tune calculations and achieve optimal modeling results, the GAMMA Tech team added new parameters and modes to them.

In this version of CAD "GAMMA" we paid special attention to the user interface. The convenience and efficiency of an engineer in a computer-aided design environment depends on this key element of the program. The changes simplified navigation and reduced the number of routine operations when performing project tasks, - commented Roman Tikhonov, General Director of GAMMA Tech, ITG Corporation.

Material Library Optimization

GAMMA TECH has updated the library of materials for the flagship CAD product GAMMA. the change affected both the list of materials with their properties and the algorithms for working with them. The developer announced this on May 19, 2025.

The library became available in the May update of CAD "GAMMA" and is provided to all users of the system. The developers have realized the ability to set anisotropic properties of materials and take into account their frequency dependence. The team's engineers also made it easier to navigate the library: they removed the strict grouping of lists into sections "metal" and "dielectric" so that users could create materials with an indefinite type of "Auto."

When you open previously created CAD projects, GAMMA automatically converts the old material library to the new format. The developers have provided a mechanism for converting user materials to correctly save them in the updated structure.

GAMMA Tech pays great attention to working with the materials library and draws attention to the most popular user standards. In addition to directly expanding the list of available materials and their properties. we consider it important to adjust the algorithms for working with the library to improve the convenience of engineers working with the system, - added Roman Tikhonov, General Director of GAMMA Tech, ITG Corporation.

Version 2025.1 with Advanced Trial Support

GAMMA Tech has updated its flagship CAD product GAMMA to version 2025.1. The company has implemented in the software advanced support for trial versions, a multilingual installer, support for server licenses and remote access, optimization of calculation modules. This release is aimed at improving the stability, performance and flexibility of CAD for industrial users and the educational sector. Gamma Tech announced this on May 14, 2025.

Advanced trial support is implemented by accessing updates and technical support for the entire trial period, and the program itself displays detailed information about the status of the license.

A step towards international users was a multilingual installer that allows you to choose the installation language at the initial stage.

The student version of the program has also been redesigned. The updated interface, adapted functionality and improved compatibility with educational tasks make it more convenient for working in universities.

For enterprise clients, support for server licenses has been introduced with the ability to work through a remote desktop.

Special attention is paid to optimization of calculation modules. An advanced mesh generator for the finite element method has improved the accuracy and speed of modeling. Working in the mode of the finite difference method has become more stable, and the output of the results is visual and informative. Improvements have also affected import processes, in particular, the loading time of projects in ODB++ format has been reduced, which is important when working with large and multi-level schemes.

Added support for units of measure for which non-linear recalculation formulas are used, which expands the possibilities of modeling complex and non-standard physical processes. The changes also affected the graphical output of the results: the radiation patterns are now displayed with increased accuracy and can be edited manually. This is necessary when analyzing antennas and microwave devices.

2024: Gamma 2024.2 with "Guardant" License Manager

GAMMA Tech has released the GAMMA CAD update version 2024.2. The changes extend the functionality of the system and improve its reliability. The company announced this on November 28, 2024.

This release introduces the Guardant License Manager, which provides flexible management. Users can choose between fixed and network licenses. License migration is supported, as well as the use of software or hardware keys (provided on request).

The finite element method has gained additional capabilities: now the roughness of metals is taken into account using the Huray and Groiss models. Calculation functionality with periodic boundary conditions is implemented. Also in the version there is a solver based on physical optics, which allows you to calculate the effective scattering surface (EPR) for conductive bodies, which allows you to calculate the radar visibility of objects of large electrical sizes: aircraft, ships, etc.

The user interface has become even more convenient thanks to the customization of model view control. There are control settings mice with and the ability to select pre-installed profiles for work that take into account user experience in foreign packages.

Special attention is paid to documentation: new project examples and training materials have been added to the program.

In recent years, there have been changes in the Russian market for the design of electronic devices and microwave systems, where foreign solutions have dominated for a long time. Under these conditions, it became critical to ensure technological sovereignty in the field of computer-aided design systems. The answer to this call was CAD "GAMMA." The release of version 2024.2 marks an important stage in the development of CAD. This is the first release released after the completion of the transformation of the project into a commercial product, - said Roman Tikhonov, CEO of GAMMA Tech, ITG Corporation. }}
