2024: D5000 Compatibility with PT NAD
Positive Technologies and the Garda group of companies on June 17, 2024 announced the passage of PT NAD and Garda QUASAR products D5000 technological compatibility tests.
As a result of the tests, the effective interaction of products was confirmed, providing a simple, scalable network architecture and transmission of traffic copies by optimizing the load on both the PT Network Attack Discovery (PT NAD) system and the production network. At the same time, the integration functions without time delays and the need for additional service information.
The QUASAR D5000 garda is a family of high-performance (up to 12.8 Tbit/sec.) network packet brokers based on a programmable switching platform. QUASAR D5000 Garda brokers provide aggregation of traffic from network TAP couplers or SPAN ports and its transfer to analysis tools in accordance with user-defined filtering and processing rules. Allocating traffic streams based on a set of filter keys for L2, L3, L4 headers allows you to configure granular processing policies, passing only the desired type of traffic to analysis systems. QUASAR D5000 network packet brokers are developed and manufactured by TechArgos, a member of the Garda group of companies.
The implementation of network traffic mirroring on PT NAD using Garda QUASAR D5000 will provide customers of companies with such advantages as the ability to optimize the load on traffic consumers, the absence of blind spots, flexibility in setting up filtering rules and preprocessing packets even before transmission for further analysis. Thus, the high expertise of Positive Technologies specialists laid down in PT NAD in terms of detecting anomalies and malicious impacts in the network will be applied with the greatest efficiency, which will ensure a significant increase in the level of security of our clients' networks, "said Viktor Pustoshilov, director of special projects of the Garda group of companies. |
Network packet brokers, such as Garda QUASAR D5000 allow you to prioritize the traffic that comes to PT NAD - record only those sessions and events that are potentially useful for monitoring and investigating incidents, - said Vladimir Klepche, chief architect of network solutions at Positive Technologies. - Which, in turn, helps customers to more competently allocate resources for monitoring network traffic in the company. |
