The QUASAR D5000 garda is a family of high-performance (up to 12.8 Tbit/sec.) network packet brokers based on a programmable switching platform. QUASAR D5000 Garda brokers provide aggregation of traffic from network TAP couplers or SPAN ports and its transfer to analysis tools in accordance with user-defined filtering and processing rules. Allocating traffic streams based on a set of filter keys for L2, L3, L4 headers allows you to configure granular processing policies, passing only the desired type of traffic to analysis systems.
