Description
With arrival in a destination point the passenger needs to receive the baggage in a special zone. It is easy for owner to reveal the suitcase from a flow, but there are exceptions - the person takes not the baggage, goes to an exit. At many airports at the exit from a zone of baggage claim there is an employee who verifies numbers of a back of a luggage label on a suitcase (bag) with number of the detachable coupon in the ticket. Process is executed "manually" - the employee eyes verifies numbers and can be mistaken. Process of reconciliation happens not quickly, queue gathers, tension grows.
For performance improvement of work and acceleration of "processing" of a passenger traffic the Geksagon company proposes the solution "Goods: Baggage". The principle of work of the solution is simple – at the exit from a zone of baggage claim there is an employee with the mobile computer (data collection terminal) on which the specialized software is set. Using the mobile computer the employee scans barcodes on a back of a luggage label and on the detachable coupon in the ticket. At coincidence of barcodes the data collection terminal informs the employee a "quiet" sound signal and the corresponding message on the screen that the passenger received the baggage. If barcodes do not match, the mobile computer publishes a "disturbing" signal and displays the message about wrong baggage claim on the screen.
