Accelerated Mobile Pages - the project open source on the accelerated loading of mobile web pages[1].
On October 7, 2015 the Google company announced a project startup of Accelerated Mobile Pages. A main objective of the project - performance improvement of the open mobile Internet.

At the heart of the AMP HTML project — the format of public type created on the basis of the operating web technologies. This format helps to create light versions of standard web pages.
The company wants that web pages with various content — videos, animation and graphics — were loaded instantly together with any formats of advertisements. That on different platforms and devices identical coding was used: then content will be loaded quickly everywhere irrespective of the fact which smartphone model in the user's hands.
According to the statement of Google, more than 30 publishers in the world took part in use of the AMP HTML format. Among partners: Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress.com, Chartbeat, Parse.ly and LinkedIn.
Google expects to set up cooperation with other participants to expand functionality and additional opportunities in a number of key areas.
The Accelerated Mobile Pages project provides an open source code, allowing publishers to focus on production of interesting, saturated content, at the same time using components from open access. They, as envisioned by Google, will provide to the website high performance and will make it convenient for users. The initial technical specification is developed taking into account wishes and with the assistance of partners of the company from publishing and technology sectors and published on the Github resource.
