Google Cloud Print

Google provided in the spring of 2013 new technology "Virtual Printer" (Google Cloud Print) by means of which printers can be connected to the Internet.

So far it is stated that by means of Google Cloud Print it is possible "not only to get access to the home and working printers from applications, usual for you, but also to provide it to other users". Actually, these two functions – the main and only.

The technology allows to send to printing documents from a number of applications and services from phone, the tablet, the chromebook, the PC or other device connected to network. Printers on which perhaps sending printing should or to be directly connected to the Internet or to be connected to the computers having access to network (in this case the special connector will be used).

Besides, any user (to the USA) can send the document to printing on printers at offices FedEx. It will be possible to take away the printed document in the next 10 few days, having called the individual code which the user will receive when sending for printing.^[1]

But Google Cloud Print allows to print documents only from under some applications and web services (naturally, generally the). So it is not a versatile tool which, for example, is integrated with an ECM system. Therefore for businessmen the solution can be insufficient and ambiguous.
