Staff of the Engineering center "Grasis" for the large project for production of adsorptive nitric installation designed the new failsafe distributed control system (DCS) based on Siemens PCS-7 with hardware reservation based on S7-400H controllers and IPC workstations integrated into an APCS of oil refinery.
The solution developed in the Engineering center "Grasis" will allow to manage adsorptive installation at the enterprise with continuous technology process, ensuring high safety of a dangerous industrial facility. The redundant architecture of RSU which allows to avoid a stop of technology process because of single failure of any element of a system was offered.
