Gefest-1M is a passive RFID tag for industrial application.
Tags of Go-RFID can fasten on metallic objects of accounting, have the high-strength body and have the sufficient amount of a user memory for use in modern WM (Warehouse Management) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems in mechanical engineering, construction, metallurgy, oil and other industries.
On February 24, 2016 the Growth Horizons company announced release of a RFID tag for industrial application of Gefest-1M.
Material of the Gefest-1M body is AISI 304 stainless steel, weight of 54 g. In the body there are two openings with a diameter of 4 mm. everyone. Fastening methods on a metallic object of accounting: welding or installation on screws (rivets).
On drill floors, for example, the tag can fasten on a surface of a ground equipment (tanks for storage of drilling mud, electric motors, pumps, winches, etc.). Construction of a tag can be exposed to modification according to requirements of the customer.
Gefest-1M has degree of protection of IP68 (the chip and the antenna are protected from hit of moisture and dust), maintains influence of extreme temperatures and aggressive environments. Operating range of temperatures: from −30ºС to +85ºС; the tag saves working capacity even after 24-hour cooling to −60 ºС and heatings to +110ºС. In actual practice when reading by the manual reader Gefest-1M it is read from distance to 1 m, when reading by the stationary reader – up to 3 m.
Using Gefest-1M (amount of a user memory of 512 bits) in an accounting system it is possible to save all important facts of history of operation of an object:
- data on its movement,
- bind data on the producer, spare parts
- other necessary information.
The tag maintains up to 100 thousand write cycles and reading at a temperature +25ºС.
Reading speed: 400 tags per second (for EPC of 96 bits).
