The virtual HPC HUB supercomputer is development of the Russian company of the same name. Based on this technology the developer provides service "the supercomputer on demand" according to the SaaS model to end users. Owners of supercomputer resources for deployment on its base of a private cloud or for providing a cloud service "the supercomputer on demand" to third parties can also use the solution.
From the point of view of the user the virtual HPC HUB supercomputer is the computing cluster consisting of a head managing node, several computing nodes integrated by network of small latency Infiniband, and storage from 50GB to 10TB.
Sale of the virtual supercomputer is constructed based on cloud software of OpenStack and a storage system of Ceph. Virtual machines of user nodes are operated a hypervisor of KVM. For network virtualization of small latency the SR-IOV technology is used. One of virtual functions of the Infiniband adapter is imported to virtual machines of calculating nodes.
