The Hewlett Packard Enterprise company provided on November 10, 2017 Mission Critical Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) — the first product from future family of the offers integrated under the name HPE Mission Critical Blockchain. According to the company, the presented solution will allow customers to adjust functioning of technology of the distributed registers on corporate platforms with the high level of readiness.
The packet of HPE is used for record of transactions in the decentralized network of servers and has the broad range of potential applications in the different industries.
HPE Mission Critical DLT is urged to guarantee to applications of the corporate level required readiness and fault tolerance. According to the statement of the company, the solution has scalability and SQL integration which cannot be provided at operation of workloads in public cloud environments or based on unspecialized infrastructure.
Mission Critical DLT is a part of the general approach of HPE on support of blockchain technologies resources of the corporate level. It is offered on the HPE Integrity NonStop platforms which, according to HPE, process two thirds of world credit card transactions. This solution was created in partnership with developer company of the corporate software of R3 by means of integration of technology of the distributed register of R3 with a cloud platform of HPE for the solution of responsible tasks.
According to HPE, this combination allows customers to operate workloads of the distributed register in the environments needing absolute fault tolerance at the level of crucial tasks of business and providing massive scalability for growth together with business along with SQL integration with legacy systems.
As of November, 2017, the solution Mission Critical DLT is still presented by the beta. According to plans of HPE, the product will become available to acquisition at the beginning of 2018. Within the same year customers will have also an opportunity to buy access to this solution in the DLT as service environment for serious preliminary tests or productive use.[1]
