HP Apollo — HPC-solutions of Hewlett-Packard company - the new servers of modular architecture equipped with the innovation system of power distribution, air and liquid cooling.
On June 10, 2014 submitted to HP HPC-solutions for corporate architecture - the platforms of high-performance computing providing the high level of performance, requiring much less than energy and physical space in DPC.
HP Apollo 6000 Chassis
New servers of modular architecture are equipped with the innovation system of power distribution, air and liquid cooling and provide to four times higher performance on square foot in comparison with standard rack servers.

HP solutions of Apollo 6000 and HP Apollo 8000 are available on sale at HP and her partners since June 10, 2014.
At the heart of the HP Apollo systems experience of the company in the field of creation of servers x86 architecture and a blade systems, Moonshot HP servers programmatically configured with very low power consumption.
As a part of the Apollo HP family:
- the system of HP of Apollo 6000 with air cooling, the maximum high-speed performance per acre and making high-performance computing available to a wide range of corporate customers;
- HP Apollo 8000 is the supercomputer of big computing power, is supplied with a water cooling system which provides very small expense of the electric power;
- the service package of HP of Apollo Services increasing availability of high-performance computing systems due to crediting, the help in planning and deployment and also technical support (it is provided by service HP Datacenter Care).
HP Apollo 6000 is the high-performance computing system for the enterprises
HP has Apollo 6000 changeable rack construction, it maintains a wide choice of adapters and standby units of a power supply, allows to optimize a system for the most different workloads, for example, for design automation or the analysis of financial risks.
Server racks of HP of Apollo 6000 System are executed on the special construction expected air cooling. A system is supplied with external section of power supplies and the manager of HP Advanced Power Manager. Each rack may contain up to 160 servers. In comparison with competitive a solutions blade of Apollo 6000 it is capable to provide record high-speed performance and more high energy efficiency at the smaller occupied space, and the power consumption lowered for 46% reduces the total operating costs.
Apollo 8000 System is a new word in design of supercomputers
HP Apollo 8000 System is the first-ever supercomputer constructed entirely using liquid cooling and supplied with the built-in means of protecting of the equipment. A system is mounted in racks, each of which may contain up to 144 servers. In comparison with the cooled air it can provide four times bigger high-speed performance counting on a rack. Use of energy efficient construction reduces the volume of atmospheric emissions of a carbon dioxide gas on average in the size data center by 3.8 thousand tons a year.
Heated water from the cooling system can be used for heating of premises.
2015: Filled up with HP Apollo line
On May 13, 2015 HP presented platforms and solutions in Compute line. They are called to help - to use effectively to clients all data types for acceleration of decision making, performance improvement and effective monetization of content.
HP Apollo 2000 is corporate solution for creation of scalable infrastructure. It provides hyper scalable efficiency and performance in traditional DPCs where standard and resource-intensive tasks are carried out. An effective compact system is delivered in a usual form factor, with the same cables, control functions and service, as other rack servers, it provides the most organic integration. Besides, installation to four servers with a possibility of "hot" connection in standard racks 2U allows clients to select and combine servers taking into account workloads.
HP Apollo 2000, 2015
The line of HP of Apollo 4000 includes three servers which are specially developed for resource-intensive tasks (for example, Hadoop and analytics of Big Data), object-oriented storage. A system is offered in option with one, two and three nodes, offers the flexible functions changing a ratio of computing resources and resources of storage according to workloads.
- HP Apollo 4200 is the high density server in format 2U (28 disks LFF or 50 SFF).
HP Apollo 4200, 2015
- HP Apollo 4510 in chassis 4U with one server node provides storage density to 5.44 PB (in terms of a complete rack 42U).
HP Apollo 4510, 2015
- HP Apollo 4530 with three servers in one chassis is focused on calculations in the field of analytics on the Hadoop platform with threefold replication of data.
