HP Atalla is the complex of solutions of enciphering, protection and access control to data ensuring safety of business information on the place of its use and storage throughout its lifecycle.

On June 11, 2014 HP announced functions of enciphering, protection and access control to data of HP Atalla.

HP solutions of Atalla protect data where they are stored and used - in "cloud", the local environment, on mobile devices - to guarantee security of information resources of the enterprise.

HP solutions of Atalla protect data in the local environment and in a cloud, including unstructured data - confidential e-mail, information on payments and electronic cards of patients.

The solutions Atalla are focused on the organizations which are actively working with confidential information, for example financial institutions, retailers, the energy companies, the organizations of health care and state structure. Systems guarantee reliable data protection without prejudice to flexibility and performance.

• HP Secure Encryption with technology of HP of Enterprise Secure Key Manager (ESKM) 4.0 consolidates and automates management of enciphering, preventing a non-authorized access to confidential data. HP ESKM 4.0 reduces risk and simplifies key management of enciphering in distributed environment and also offers management tools security, automation of services and a uniform control panel. Convenient integration into hardware solutions of HP, including with HP servers of ProLiant Gen 8, allows to protect encryption keys without decline in production of servers. Besides, HP ESKM platform 4.0 completely supports the OASIS Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) protocol which is used for development of open standards of key management of enciphering.

• HP Atalla Cloud Encryption is deployed in several minutes and provides convenient enciphering and key management in a private, public or hybrid cloud using a method of splitting keys. Besides, clients can integrate this solution with HP Enterprise Secure Key Manager for automatic control and protection of the main keys in the local environment on the devices certified according to the FIPS 140-2 standard of Level 2.

• HP Atalla Information Protection and Control (IPC) protects important corporate data at each stage of their lifecycle, from creation before preserving. This software uses the unique mechanism of enciphering which provides continuous data protection irrespective of where they move for the lifecycle. Besides, this technology of enciphering is easily built in business processes therefore the user should not spend time and money for the project of integration.

Availability

HP Secure Encryption with function of centralized operation by keys well on sale at the order of the options HP Smart Storage for a HP server of ProLiant Gen 8 together with licenses for HP Atalla enciphering key management. Besides, the client can implement this solution in the compatible environment using Smart Array HP controllers.

In the fall of 2015 updating of Atalla HP services and HP Security Voltage was provided.

Secure access to a cloud The greatest part of corporate data is stored in the applications of SaaS approved for daily business use. HP Atalla offers integration of Adallom with HP ArcSight through the platform of protection Cloud Access Security now that allows to expand limits of corporate security "to a cloud". This platform provides data transmission of customers from Adallom, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), in the ArcSight HP SIEM platform. HP SecureData Payments The HP solution of SecureData Payments 4.1 helps to observe continuously developing PCI standards and other requirements. It ensures complex information protection and safety at its input in the POS terminal. HP SecureData Payments supports additional platforms and cryptographic mechanisms, including the new Integrity NonStop X HP platform based on x86 and longer encryption keys.
