The concept of the enterprise quickly adaptive to business needs (Instant-On Enterprise) — the organization which aims to adapt better to fast changing of customers needs and requests of citizens by implementation of technologies in all transactions.
The research conducted by request of HP showed that the value of information technologies for activity of the enterprise changes. If earlier information technologies performed mainly administrative functions, then now they become an integral part of work of the organization.
- About 86% of directors of commercial enterprises and the state upper managers consider that the possibility of fast adaptation of organization activity to the changing requirements of customers is necessary for improvement of service quality.
- About 78% of respondents are sure that technologies are a key to the innovation conversions in business and activity of public institutions.
- More than 85% of survey participants specified that for ensuring success of commercial enterprise or public service it is necessary to implement the appropriate information technologies.
New integrated solutions of HP help the organizations to learn to use in a new way technologies and to provide use of the innovation tools in each connection connecting a chain of operational procedures. The services, mobile devices and global data processing centers necessary for ensuring work of the enterprise adapting to changes are among such connections.
The new complex of integrated solutions is created on the basis of an extensive set of the equipment, the software, services and intellectual property items of HP. It includes the instruments of upgrade, transformation, protection and optimization necessary for conversion of business companies and government agencies to the enterprises of instant readiness.
- HP solutions of Application Transformation are intended for transformation of outdated applications and processes. HP helps to take the outdate applications and nonflexible processes which interfere with the innovative development of the enterprise under control, and suggests to start their effective management and regulation of rates of upgrade.
- HP solutions of Converged Infrastructure are designed to replace a traditional nonflexible complex of IT solutions. Convergent infrastructure is designed so that to eliminate excess expenses and to provide a possibility of operational delivery of services. Using a unique complex of analytical software specialists of HP collect data on use of services and demand pattern on them, and then develop a set of recommendations which help to estimate and combine workloads optimum.
According to the analytical agencies Gartner and Forrester, HP wins first place in the market on ensuring reliable, safe and quick entry in operation of modern applications and services and more, than by 4 times exceeds IBM also Microsoft in this direction. Statistically, more than 70% of the companies entering the list of Fortune 500 use solutions HP Applications.
In the field of management of business applications and cloud services HP is the two-time leader in the market of management of distributed systems according to Gartner and Forrester. In confirmation of it of 80% of the companies from the list of Fortune 500 use HP Operations Software for management of IT.
HP actively raises the security level and reduces risks when developing and using applications. The best performance indicator of solutions NR is that more than 75% of the companies from the list of Fortune 5 in each industry, including law enforcement agencies of the USA, use solutions NR on storage and management of corporate information which allow to save up to 70% for TCO in comparison with competitive solutions.
On December 1, 2011 NR provided results of the global research reflecting current problems of the organizations in the field of management of business information and their need for new solutions for optimization of information flows which will allow to use advantages of infrastructure of Instant-On Enterprise fully.
The research Coleman Parkes Research conducted by request of NR showed that the organizations have no effective strategy in information management which could promote deeper understanding the current situation and acceptance of optimal business solutions.
Nearly a half of heads business and technology divisions consider that their companies have no effective strategy in information management capable to solve a problem of organizational dissociation, to cover all complex of technology and strategic tasks. Only 2% of heads noted that IT infrastructure of their organization allows to receive in real time the data necessary for timely acceptance of right business solutions.
The research shows the following facts:
- More than 50% of heads consider that growth of information flows changes usual methods of use of the systems of the business analysis. At the same time every third head notes that a half of all information which is possessed by the organization remains disordered, unexplored, so, unsuitable to further use.
- Nearly two thirds of heads of business divisions and technology departments recognize that the most difficult task in the field of information management is need of accomplishment of more and more strict requirements of normative and regulating authorities. At the same time more than a third of heads were recognized in absence at them the effective remedies of access to corporate data necessary not only for observance of legislative arrangements and regulations, but also for the solution of the current tasks.
- 63% of heads agree that effective optimization of data is "cornerstone" of successful strategy of information management.
During the poll also it became clear that in most the companies of strategy of information management develop only under the influence of external circumstances: such tasks as ensuring compliance to regulations, personal data protection or development of corporate policy of usage of social networks are solved a post factum, in process of emergence of the corresponding requirements.

Methodology
The research was custom-made by Coleman Parkes Research HP company. Questions of analysts were answered by 554 heads of business divisions and technology departments of the companies where the staff exceeds 1000 people. Survey was conducted by phone in October, 2011. The research covered the following regions: North America (USA and Canada), Europe and countries of the Middle East (Great Britain, France, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Czech Republic and UAE), Pacific Rim (Australia, China, India, Japan and South Korea) and Latin America (Brazil and Mexico).
