2016: Announcement

On April 12, 2016 the HTC company provided the flagman smartphone which received the name HTC 10. For this product the slogan "Power of 10" ("Force 10") symbolizing "not only power and independence but also the fact that whole there is always more amount of its parts was selected", the producer notes.

Innovation is completed with the 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 display with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a curved cover plate of Gorilla Glass. In a hardware basis the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with clock rate to 2.2 GHz, the graphic Adreno 530 accelerator and the cellular X12 LTE modem is put. Amount of RAM is 4 Gbytes.

HTC 10 — the first-ever smartphone with optical stabilization of the image in both cameras

The main camera received a 12-megapixel array (the pixel size — 1.55 microns), double LED flash and support of record of 4K-video. The front camera with the 5-megapixel sensor is intended for creation of photographic self-portraits and video telephony (uses 1.34-micron pixels). Both cameras are characterized by optical stabilization of the image what before it was not implemented in one other smartphone in the world.

HTC 10 is put into the all-metal body. The fingerprint scanner capable to remove phone from blocking in only 0.2 seconds is built in the button on a front part.

HTC 10 will be on sale in three coloring of the body
