In 2019, Dbrain's AI creation platform (i.e., data markup) was renamed Handl. The Dbrain product was positioned as blockchain a platform that allows you to collectively create applications. AI It was supposed to go to, ICO but in the end the company Dbrain abandoned this plan.

According to representatives of the developer company, Handl is a "continuation of Dbrain," but it no longer uses blockchain technology. The product has direct integration with Yandex.Tolokoi.

In addition, a separate Dbrain product was also allocated, which is now positioned as a document automation system. As the developer's representatives explained, Handl can be used to train algorithms to recognize new documents for Dbrain.

2018

$2.5 million investment

As it became known in February 2018, the Russian startup Dbrain raised $2.5 million in investments to develop its blockchain platform, which provides the opportunity to collectively engage in AI training.

As of February 14, an alpha version of the platform has already been launched, which consists of a web interface and a bot in. messenger Telegram^[1]

In the third quarter of 2018, Dbrain plans to offer a full range of artificial intelligence applications. Cooperation with companies such as Micromoney and Chronobank is planned.^[2]

Dbrain Platform Description

Dbrain is a hybrid platform, where along with the public blockchain based on Ethereum, private blockchain is also used.

The Russian startup Dbrain allows users who do not have professional training to collectively engage in training artificial intelligence and make money on it. In particular, users will be able to receive rewards for performing simple labeling and data validation tasks. Payment for the work done will be made in the own cryptocurrency Dbraincoin (DBR) without the mediation of financial organizations.

The quality of data processing is checked using the SPOCK (Subjective Proof Of Crowd worK) protocol created by Dbrain. The Protocol for Indirect Controlled Access to Repository Data (PICARD) protocol created by Dbrain is also responsible for data security and rewards. It not only protects data from leakage, but also allows you to work with it on the platform without having direct access to it.
