An additional functionality appeared on the hh.ru - chats between applicants and employers. The company announced this on June 29, 2021. Now candidates and recruiters can communicate in the usual messenger interface, and the dialog box opens immediately after responding to the vacancy with a cover letter. This functionality is hh.ru available on the mobile and desktop version of the site and allows you to be connected without switching to other messengers, reducing the time to the first contact with the candidate.

In professional areas, where there is a high demand for employees, and the decision to go to work is made quickly, the waiting time will be even shorter. In order not to miss candidates, it is important to contact them as quickly as possible. To do this, chats with applicants were launched on the hh.ru.

Both the employer's representative and the applicant can start the dialogue when responding to a vacancy with a cover letter or when receiving an invitation to an interview. Once the recruiter has written to the candidate, he will receive a push notification about the message in the mobile application. You no longer need to fear that the message will get into spam, as is often the case when writing to unfamiliar contacts, or will be lost in a stream of personal correspondence. It is also a great opportunity to contact those applicants who did not provide a phone number on the resume - they will receive a notification in the application. As of June 2021, the application for applicants was downloaded more than 30 million times.

In the chat, the employer can see a photo of the applicant, a link to the resume and information about which vacancy the response came to. All correspondence with the applicant is in the same interface, and not in numerous instant messengers. All chats can be filtered: communicate only one vacancy, see all candidates at any of the funnel stages, see only unread or active ones - those where there are messages from chat participants. When the chat closes, the information will not disappear, and all communication will be duplicated in responses.

As in any messenger, chat rooms on the hh.ru provide that the user can edit or delete the message even after it is sent. Therefore, if one of the participants in the conversation was accidentally sealed or mistaken, there is a chance to quickly fix everything.
