2025: Product Announcement

In early January 2025, it became known that Sentien Robotics created the Hive mobile platform for automating work with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The novelty is a mobile hive for swarm drones.

The platform exists in two versions - Hive Expedition and Hive-XL. The first is designed for 18 drones, the second - for 80. Drones can be deployed at any time and anywhere for a particular mission.

A mobile hive for swarm drones is presented

Hive Expedition provides automated launch, charging capability, precision landing and drone storage. This model is made on the basis of an off-road chassis, thanks to which it can move over rough terrain. The machine contains its own power supply for long missions.

In turn, the Hive-XL looks like a home on wheels. The fully automated platform is capable of carrying a heterogeneous set of dozens of drones of various sizes on board with a variety of capabilities. The machine carries out a full cycle of starting and restoring the UAV energy reserve without any intervention from operators. Among the advantages of the complex are an 11-kilowatt power plant, high-speed launch mechanics and 80 drone charging zones.

The Shepard software platform is involved - it is a specialized architecture for mission planning, airspace conflict resolution and management. Shepard is a modular system with plug-in support. In general, as noted, Hive eliminates the need for human operators to manage a fleet of UAVs. This reduces operational errors and improves overall efficiency on various missions that require numerous drones.[1][2]
