Home Sourcing is the infrastructure solution for the organization of remote work. The solution allows to support the high performance of work of the specialists working far off and provides execution of requirements of the legislation for personal data protection.

The structure of the solution includes functional subsystems of the user environment, information security and computing infrastructure. A program part of a complex is made:

• Software for the organization of virtual work places for VDI technology which provides centralization of management of the PC;
• a set of information security tools according to requirements of the Federal law of the Russian Federation No. FZ-152 "About personal data";
• and also means of tracking of actions of users for monitoring of labor productivity.

2018: Release

The companies Setec and "LANIT-Integration" announced on April 20, 2018 development of the infrastructure solution Home Sourcing for the organization of remote work. The solution represents the finished hardware and software system for the solution of all organizational problems at transfer of the employee to remote work.

As a basis for formation of the distributed entrusted IT environment in Home Sourcing the protected Trinity operating system is used (is a part of a HSS of Trinity).

Trinity OS allows to segment IT infrastructure on safety zones and to completely isolate their information flows from each other — told Ruslan Gilyazov, the head of department of development of information security tools of Setec company. — Thus, remote users, having once undergone authorization, can safely work in segments of corporate network with the different access levels, without threat leakages of confidential data through open segments. Sale of this mechanism allows including to provide observance of requirements of FZ-152 and FSTEC Russia on the organization of remote access.

Home Sourcing also provides a possibility of online monitoring and performance monitoring of remote work of personnel. Using these built-in tools, heads and IT services can analyze degree of working activity of personnel from any place in the world, monitor observance of labor discipline, control target use of IT resources, quickly fix and prevent leakages of confidential data.

The solution can be used according to two scenarios: remote work with the help of own device (BYOD) and issue to the remote worker of the thin client. In the first case the special flash card using which it turns the home PC into protected the client of access to infrastructure of VDI is issued to the employee, but at the same time data on its computer are not mentioned. All work is conducted only on the external carrier. In the second case the thin client of own development in a notebook form factor with attractive market value is used, noted in Setec.
