2010: Honeypot Manager 2.0

In Honeypot Manager 2.0 the possibility of simulation of a storage system on the basis of a file server in adding to the possibility of simulation of a storage system which is already implemented in the first version of a product on the basis of DBMS appeared. It will allow to protect more wide range of confidential information of the organizations from penetrations and leaks.

Honeypot Manager 2.0 developments of Code of Security company — the software product intended for detection of invasions and unauthorized access to confidential information due to simulation of the systems of data storage.

Honeypot Manager 2.0 is able to imitate file storages — one of the most widespread and most vulnerable sources of corporate information. Also new version of software allows to integrate the set traps with the systems of the centralized monitoring and management. Among new opportunities of the software solution Honeypot Manager also especially It should be noted function of the notification about attempts of unauthorized access under the SNMP protocol and inclusion of support of modern operating systems of the Windows family.

At the moment the new version undergoes certification in FSTEC of Russia on compliance to requirements for the 4th level of absence control of NDV and the specifications (S).

In more detail about new opportunities of Honeypot Manager 2.0:

Simulation of storage systems on the basis of a file server;

• In the new version one more type of the sensor — the file sensor allowing to imitate file resources of the organization and also applications storing the data in file structure with a possibility of network access such as 1C 7.x is added.

The notification about attempts of NSD under the SNMP protocol;

• The Honeypot Manager system allows to use for notifications on the facts NSD now the SNMP protocol which is standard means of providing (mailing) of information on events in devices or programs and is supported by all systems of the centralized monitoring and management. In particular, it provides ability to integrate Honeypot Manager with an event management system of information security of ArcSight 4.5.

Support of modern operating systems of the Windows family;

• Version 2.0 can be installed on the Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows XP systems working at x86 and x64 platforms.

2012: Honeypot Manager 2.5

In the new version of the product Honeypot Manager 2.5 the following innovations appeared:

• the feature to imitate operation of web sensors is added,
• the feature for the notification on NSD using sending of the SMS is added,
• the special utility of filling by data file and web sensors is added,
• the style of the interface of the administrative console and utilities of testing is changed that considerably increased convenience of work with the software product.

Transfer of the version of Honeypot Manager in FSTEC of Russia is planned for the inspection control (IC) in the nearest future. Passing of IC it will be announced separately. Receipt of the certified version in sale is expected since June 1, 2012.
