2020: Start of the platform
On June 11, 2020 Honeywell and SAP started the analytical platform for job analysis of all engineering systems of the building. The solution under the name Honeywell Forge Real Estate Operations is created as a result of integration of the operating technologies of the companies: Honeywell Forge and SAP Cloud for Real Estate.
According to ZDNet with reference to a joint statement of Honeywell and SAP, a new solution integrates financial and operational data, helping to optimize management of the building. The platform provides a uniform dashboard on which indicators of work of heating systems are displayed, to ventilation, air conditionings, lighting and security (are registered by means of sensors). This information is integrated with the business data concerning, for example, service and use of the building, lease of premises, etc.
For joint from the SAP project Honeywell provided a system a cloud platform of Honeywell Forge which, using algorithms of artificial intelligence, helps owners of buildings to control expenses, to reduce emissions of a carbon dioxide gas and to execute regulations on social distancing of people in the conditions of fight against spread of a coronavirus of COVID-19.
SAP, in turn, provided to the project SAP application of Cloud for Real Estate which allows the organizations to analyze the data collected from several objects, for example, for optimization of indicators of fillability of buildings.
According to the vice president and head Honeywell Connected Building David Trays, cooperation with SAP it was begun trying to replace all physical management systems for the building with one virtual software solution. Such approaches allowed Honeywell to create cloud applicaions for remote control by work of buildings and also will help to expand availability of an initiative at the expense of API.[1]
