The Honeywell corporation announced in November, 2010 optimization of a complex of the training UniSim R400 programs which helps operators of industrial enterprises to ensure safer and effective functioning of production lines. The UniSim R400 complex includes new tools which will help the enterprises of processing industry to simplify the procedure of certification of the operators of technology processes working at the enterprise. Also this software package offers new opportunities virtualizations thanks to which operators will be able to be trained in the workplace that, finally, will allow to reduce the total cost of training, says Honeywell.

For certification of the operators many companies will organize rates on the basis of training systems which define the training course and level of knowledge necessary for the operator for successful certification. The UniSim complex provides direct link with any training system that allows the companies to offer easily practical training tasks, claim in Honeywell. Such type of training helps the enterprises to impart for several weeks knowledge of operation which in a normal situation can be received by long-term practical work. Researches show that instruments of interactive modeling can provide up to 75% of assimilation of information in comparison with 5% of assimilation characteristic of lecture training, emphasized in the company.

In addition to new instruments of independent certification, a possibility of virtual placement of UniSim allow the enterprises to develop easily training courses in any workplace. It helps operators to be trained according to the direct Internet link to the corresponding training system, even when they are not in the traditional center of training. According to Honeywell, simplification and increase in availability of training for a wide range of persons reduces the cost of rates counting on one student.
