2022: Announcement
In mid-November 2022, the Russian company "Aerial Survey" announced the release of new unmanned aerial vehicles, which will be used as part of a special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. We are talking about drones called "Stork," "Hornet" and "Binoculars."
The Stork tiltrotor, which supports communication with radar stations, the Hornet repeater and the Binoculars compact drone will be assembled in small batches of about ten vehicles per month by the end of December 2022. In the future, they will be launched mass production.
The tiltrotor with the Stork radar station supports vertical take-off and landing. The drone detects a cluster of military equipment, sets coordinates and transmits data. The Hornet is a reconnaissance drone. It can also be used as a repeater or strike drone. The device carries a payload of up to 5 kg, which can include ammunition launchers.
The Binoculars are a small reconnaissance drone. It is equipped with a compact thermal imager, capable of establishing the presence of enemy forces and means at any time of the day.
According to TASS, the operating director of the company "Shooting from the air" Timur Mehdiyev, all three UAVs passed the relevant military-technical experiments and received positive conclusions of the commissions.
We are developing products that can be applied as part of a special military operation. The company has created several types of tiltrotors, a standard quadcopter and a drone for reconnaissance missions. On the issues of their use, we are now in a certain interaction with law enforcement agencies, "he said.[1] |
