2020: Start of a marketplace

On April 23, 2020 Hoff announced start in Russia of a marketplace on which small producers will be able to sell furniture and goods for the house. The new project of network of hypermarkets received the name "House Marketplace".

Will sell goods on the Hoff.ru platform, in the application and retail — suppliers will complement the range of the company. Hoff is going to sign with partners delivery agreements, but not the commissions and to manage the retail price. Their products will be included in the loyalty program of furniture network.

Hoff started a marketplace for small producers of furniture and goods for the house

By April 23, 2020 the company signed the first agreement with the new supplier – the seller of furniture of Silva. 60 suppliers are ready to cooperate with service, within a year of Hoff expects to increase their number to 100.

On a marketplace about 100 thousand names of goods will be provided. It is planned that at the expense of the new platform the retailer will be able to increase the range three times, and it will bring the companies near the one fifth part of revenue.

Before Hoff traded through own online and offline stores and also other marketplaces, for example, of goods.ru. "The house marketplace" was going to start several weeks later, but terms were changed because of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the vice president of Hoff Mikhail Kuchment explained to Vedomosti.  After the outbreak of a virus all shops Hoff were closed (by April the network contains 52 sales points across all Russia, from them 34 — hypermarkets).

We released resources and we had an opportunity to focus on development of new projects — he told, having added that at this conjuncture Hoff is necessary revenue, and to small producers — special support.

Originally "The house marketplace" will be available only to residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, but until the end of 2020 is going to cover all Russia.^[1]
