On February 25, 2018 the Huawei company provided commercial client terminal 5G CPE.

Terminal 5G CPE

To guarantee maximum capacity, Huawei constructed terminal 5G CPE based on a chipset of own development of Balong 5G01. It is the commercial terminal supporting standard 5G from 3GPP. Its theoretical maximum speed of downloading reaches 2.3 Gbit/sec. The chipset keeps a 5G in contact with all frequency ranges, including sub-6 GHz and millimeter waves that allows to create solutions for different scenarios of use on its basis.

Huawei offers 2 models of terminals 5G CPE: low-frequency sub of 6 GHz 5G CPE and high-frequency mmWave 5G CPE. The low-frequency terminal differs in compactness and small weight, we will combine with 4G networks and a 5G and provides downloading speed to 2 Gbps that is 20 times faster, than the 100th megabit optical fiber. Such performance allows to enjoy without delays online video and network games in a format of virtual reality or for read seconds to download television programs in high resolution.

The high-frequency Huawei 5G CPE terminal is issued in modifications for premises and for outside operation.

Mobile 5G of network sets a new level of opportunities for high-speed broadband wireless connectivity with low signal delays. They provide downloading speed to 20 Gbps and support connection up to 1 million subscriber devices on 1 square kilometer with signal delays no more than 0.5 milliseconds. Thanks to 5G network terminals are capable to provide in the future a reliable communication with the growing number of attached devices, expanding opportunities and availability of Internet of Things and increasing quantity and a variety of data which they can transfer.

Huawei CBG developed development strategy 5G within which high speed, the low delays of signals and a connectivity of a huge number of devices characteristic of a 5G of infrastructures are used for creation of the various devices and services expanding possibilities of users in all aspects of everyday life. This strategy includes creation of the smartphones, mobile access points of Wi-fi, industrial modules and other devices promoting connection of mobile devices, houses, machines and other objects to high-speed networks.

The start of the first stage of deployment of a commercial 5G of networks is planned for 2018.
