On March 24, 2023, the Chinese company Huawei announced the fully wireless headphones (TWS) of the submersible type FreeBuds Pro 2 +. The novelty has received a number of functions to track the physical activity and vital signs of the owner's body.

The headphones are equipped with a dual-mode module for calculating the heart rate: it is claimed that the TruSeen sensor provides 95% accuracy. In addition, for the first time in the world, a 3D algorithm for intelligent measurement of body temperature has been implemented. Data can be transmitted in real time to mobile devices running Harmony OS and Android operating systems. If the indicators go beyond the established limits, the user will receive an appropriate notification and, if necessary, will be able to consult a doctor in a timely manner.

The plug-in modules are equipped with 11 mm dynamic drivers and tweeters: the range of reproduced frequencies extends from 14 Hz to 48 kHz. The headphones reproduce high-definition spatial sound using a scene-based audio field rendering mechanism developed by Huawei. Three modes are available - concert hall, sound theater and cinema.

The novelty has an active noise cancellation system with three microphones and a maximum efficiency of 47 dB. The functions of dynamic determination of the structure of the ear canal and the features of wearing make it possible to personalize the noise suppression means. There is a "transparent" mode that allows you to hear certain sounds of the environment: this will be useful, for example, at the airport, at the station or in. Protection transport against moisture and dust is provided according to the IP54 standard. Bluetooth Communication 5.2 is used to exchange data with a smartphone.
