The Huawei FusionSphere platform provides virtualization of physical calculations, resources of storage, security and network resources for the organization of flexible pools of resources with the uniform mechanism of planning and management.

2018: Huawei FusionSphere underwent certification of FSTEC

On December 28, 2018 the Huawei company reported that it received the certificate of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) on the Huawei FusionSphere virtualization platform. Support in passing of certification was given by CIS Group company.

According to the company, the Huawei FusionSphere platform allows to create the failsafe distributed data processing centers of the next generation both for telecom operators, and for corporate customers. The solution includes: the system of virtualization, a network subsystem and also an opportunity to use own software-defined storage without external system of data storage. It allows to use as much as possible resources by means of centralization of the existing workloads of virtual machines on several servers that allows to release more servers for service of applications and solutions.

Virtualization allows to cut down significantly expenses of the enterprise on IT infrastructure at the expense of process optimization of management, automation, adaptation and scaling. When choosing the virtualization platform a number of the organizations, such as enterprises of the state, financial and power sectors, except parameters of the system, are forced to pay attention to operability of the mechanisms of security which are built in the platform and also existence of the certificate of conformity of this or that regulating authority. The software package FusionSphere has the built-in means of protecting from NSD to information and can be applied at the enterprises to which the regulator imposes special requirements. At the beginning of October, 2018 the FusionSphere 6.x platform underwent certification, having laid the foundation for cooperation of Huawei and CIS Group companies. Upon completion of tests FSTEC of Russia issued on the virtualization platform certificate of conformity No. 4023 validity period of 5 years. Now inspection control according to requirements of FSTEC of Russia in confirmation of the certificate issued earlier there passed version 6.3.1 thanks to what the Huawei company became one of the few vendors presented at the Russian market having the certified solution on virtualization with the current version of software.

The Huawei company is one of active players of the Russian market of corporate information systems. Passing of certification of FSTEC gives it the chance to propose the relevant decisions for implementation at the enterprises to which the regulator imposes special requirements. 2016: Huawei FusionSphere passed test of SUSE Yes Certified

In the spring of 2016 the open "cloud" FusionSphere operating system of Huawei company passed test of SUSE YES CERTIFIED. The cloud Huawei FusionSphere operating system based on architecture by OpenStack is compatible to different servers, storage systems and mass virtualizatsionny platforms and also corporate applications. A system provides to the enterprises and operators of a possibility of virtualization and management. The solution Open Telekom Cloud presented by Deutsche Telekom company at CeBIT exhibition 2016 uses Huawei FusionSphere OS for creation of system architecture in a type of openness, adaptability and convergence.

Testing of SUSE YES CERTIFIED is recognized the industry and shows compatibility of solutions of SUSE with products of third-party suppliers. The extensive list of the products having marking of YES CERTIFIED is of great value for SUSE company, her partners, clients and end users.

Within testing of SUSE YES CERTIFIED of the Huawei FusionSphere operating system the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 virtual machines (VM) for AMD64 & Intel64, the Tecal RH2288H V2-8S motherboard, central processor 2 Intel Xeon Processor E5-2620 v2 of 2.10 GHz, RAM (RAM) of the server platform – 96 GB, the VM 64-bit guest system – 8 GB, the maximum tested memory – 64 GB were used. All guest systems which are completely virtualized (FV) are tested with the drivers paravirtualized (PV). The SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 drivers are delivered to FusionSphere.

Thanks to a possibility of flexible combination of different components, the FusionSphere operating system is applied to virtualization, "private clouds", "public clouds" and "hybrid clouds". Huawei aims at creation of an open architecture and complex ecosystem to facilitate IT transformation of the enterprises. By the end of December, 2015 the Huawei company started over 1.4 million "virtual machines" in 108 countries and regions servicing over 2500 clients in governmental public and also in financial, power and other sectors. By this moment of FusionSphere OS passed test for compatibility with products of numerous partners, including Microsoft and Standard Software.

2014: Huawei FusionSphere 5.0

On September 16, 2014 the Huawei company submitted the new version of cloud FusionSphere 5.0 OS.

It is created on architecture of OpenStack and considerably expands the program configured functionality and possibilities of automation of a data processing center. It also supports work with cloud services of telecom operators and NFV technology (Network Functions Virtualization). Use of standard architecture and API OpenStack allows the companies to select and connect independently compatible cloud products and services of third-party developers — it solves a problem of a binding to one producer which slows down development of cloud solutions now.

The developed for corporate clients and mobile operators, cloud FusionSphere operating system allows to unroll quickly services of virtualization of servers, private and public clouds and hybrid cloud services as required. For September 16, 2014 FusionSphere is used in 120 cloud DPCs in 42 countries and works in the industries:

OS supports integration and optimization of the existing DPCs and server platforms, provides reliability and efficiency of information systems.

2013: Description

For August 19, 2013 the version of software of Huawei FusionSphere 3.0 is relevant.

Application deployment function "from one click" and use of templates of visualization of services provide efficiency of functioning and system maintenance. FusionSphere is the open integrated platform in which advanced application programming interfaces (API) of Huawei are used.

The platform is compatible to the application programming interfaces OpenStack, it supports management of different types of devices of physical network, mechanisms of reservation and disaster-proof solutions. These functions help to increase flexibility and performance of the IT system and also the general reliability of a system.
