On August 21, 2018 the company IBM provided two servers Power Systems series based on RISC-processor POWER9. These are the servers of the senior class E950 and E980 intended for business and critical applications with intensive calculations, for example databases in-memory, the analytical systems and the systems of deep learning.

The maximum amount of RAM at these servers is equal 16 and 64 Tbyte respectively. Both servers can work under management OS AIX, IBM i OS and Linux.[1]
