IBM SafetyNet

SafetyNet - software is focused on assistance to non-profit organizations, centers of psychological assistance, social protection of children, out-of-school occupations, professional training and to nursing homes, in more effective assessment and project deliverables.

On October 20, 2016 the IBM company announced start of an accounting system and the analysis of effectiveness of IBM SafetyNet. According to the statement of the company, the product will help non-profit organizations to simplify drawing up the budget reporting, to improve design of implementable programs, to optimize labor costs of employees, leaving more time for work with clients and minimizing the volume of papers.

By means of data analysis, employees of the socially oriented organizations will be able to reveal spaces in customer service and to eliminate them.

IBM SafetyNet: A game changer for nonprofits, (2016)

Documentation of effectiveness of programs - the compulsory provision for receiving financing from the state and private investors who periodically sign contracts with non-profit organizations for rendering social services. Information analysis can become a long and expensive task for many, especially, small organizations with narrow staff. IBM SafetyNet will help such NPOs and local government agencies financing them to interact more effectively.

The solution IBM SafetyNet is deployed within the experiment in several non-profit organizations of social service of New York, they are called the centers for needy citizens.

In SafetyNet development process the IBM company cooperated with United Neighborhood Houses (UNH) charitable organization, association of doss houses, houses for the needy and utility centers of New York.

The solution IBM SafetyNet is developed especially for this grant program. It works at fundamentals of technologies open source and the solutions IBM Curam which commercial products are intended for performance improvement of the organizations participating in rendering social services including in the field of health care, pension and social security. SafetyNet works in a cloud of IBM that allows to provide the best data protection, than on the computer, and at the same time makes it more available to employees where they were.

IBM shows great interest in ensuring due education level and welfare of the population in those regions where the staff of the company lives and work. To achieve effective objectives, IBM implements the grant program within which non-profit organizations receive free consulting services and maintenance. During implementation of such projects the staff of IBM interacts with the civil, social and economic organizations for model of public-private partnership.
