For March 15, 2017 IBM Spectrum Scale is technology for management of the data warehouse with support of horizontal scaling. A system forms a basis of the unified approach to support of virtualization, an analytical environment, work with files and objects.
IBM Spectrum Scale supports single name space during the work with data and serves as the command center equipped with the graphic user interface (GUI). Politicians of storage, transparent for end users, do possible compression and multilevel data storage on tape drives or in a cloud.
