IBM Verse is the conditional and free complex of software products for social interaction equipped with analytics tools.

On November 19, 2014 the IBM company provided IBM Verse – a complex of software products for social interaction.

The product uses the built-in tools of analytics for providing to the staff of the organizations of opportunities of communication, search of the necessary contacts and information, work on projects. The new service integrates cloud, analytical, social platforms and security aids for transformation of style of work of corporate users.

In IBM Verse new approach to work with corporate information is used, numerous instruments of daily interaction between employees are integrated: e-mail, schedulers of meetings, calendars, transmission systems of files, services of instant messaging, social networks, video chats and many others - within single solution. The new software package from IBM is equipped with the message exchange system offering function of "faceted search". This function will help users to find and obtain necessary information among messages of corporate mail.

IBM Verse has means of the built-in analytics for providing brief summaries of the most current events planned for the next day. Studying unique preferences and priorities of employees, the service provides the context information about this or that project and also workers and commands which are engaged in it. The new solution considerably differs from the majority of the mail services using data for personalisation of advertizing offers and other problems of monetization and do not suit the business users from spheres of health care and finance caring for confidentiality of correspondence.

According to statements of developers, in the future customers of IBM Verse will have an opportunity to build in the IBM Watson functions the system of interaction between employees that will allow users to ask a system questions about a certain circle that and to receive the answers ranged according to confidence degree.

• Intellectual priority assignment of tasks: Quickly finds and defines priority tasks. By means of flash-like search and the built-in intellectual opportunities, analyzes – eventually, even predicts – behavior of users and their preference for the purpose of personalisation of information.

Instead of mailing of e-mails to the selected contacts, project managers can share the opinion in the blog with all command, with an opportunity to delegate and monitor the most important actions of certain members of the group.

IBM Verse functions on the SoftLayer Cloud platform, conforming to security requirements of the corporate level. For the enterprises, small business and business owners IBM Verse provides the scalable cloud environment of social interaction optimized for use both on mobile devices and in classical web the browser. The beta of a new system will be offered some clients and partners in November, 2014.

Availability

The IBM company promises availability of the conditional and free version in the first quarter 2015, by means of IBM Cloud Marketplace.

Versions of IBM Verse for iOS and Android will give to users an opportunity to work on mobile devices as well as on the PC.
