IBM WebSphere MQ treats family of network software from IBM. It is also known as MQSeries: IBM renamed it in 2002 for association with IBM WebSphere product line.
WebSphere MQ is the middleware of message exchange (Message Oriented Middleware). It allows independent and, perhaps, working not at the same time, to applications in distributed system to exchange data with each other.
MQ works at all main program and technical platforms.
WebSphere MQ is the most widespread solution in this area for the message between different platforms, including Windows, Linux, the systems of IBM of high and average levels and other systems of a nix-system. WebSphere MQ also call just MQ or MQSeries.
