HID Global iCLASS SE
The HID Global iCLASS SE platform - is developed by HID Global Corporation company, is model-based data of HID Secure Identity Object (SIO) and the Trusted Identity Platform (TIP) platform.
The readers iCLASS SE and multiCLASS SE which ensure the increased safety and a possibility of transition to use of mobile devices for access control are a part of a series of iCLASS SE devices. The readers iCLASS SE are completely compatible as with the new, and existing iCLASS systems where they can strengthen considerably the mode of security and introduce additional opportunities.
multiCLASS SE facilitate process of transition on objects with the traditional technologies based on use of readers 125 kHz: HID Prox, Indala, AWID and EM4102.
Readers on the HID Global iCLASS SE platform support an industry standard of the open controlled protocol of devices (OSDP, Open Supervised Device Protocol) which gives additional opportunities, including centralized operation by readers at the low level of operating costs and also faster and simple configuration. Inclusion of the protocol of secure channel (SCP) in OSDP provides safe communication between the reader and the controller, and use of the transparent mode provides virtual direct connection with a smart card on the reader.
The readers iCLASS SE support iCLASS Seos access facilities for cards, NFC compatible smartphones and other mobile devices.
iCLASS Seos offers the raised security level, confidentiality and mobility and also supports a set of technologies for the maximum mutual compatibility. Besides, iCLASS Seos provides support of absolute confidentiality to the commercial and state organizations in which processes of management of means of identification are regulated by need of observance of regulatory requirements.

2019: HID Global iClass SE RB25F
In April, 2019 the HID Global company provided the fingerprint reader combining processing of credentials from the multispectral visualization of HID patented by technology that promotes application of biometric data.
Sityvatel of fingerprints of iCLASS SE RB25F provides efficiency of capture of images and comparison of fingerprints within a second, thereby considerably reducing delays which were a permanent problem of biometric solutions earlier. The previous generation of biometric solutions for access control were often used with the reduced security threshold as the existing technology of image processing led to incorrect processing of fingerprints and emergence of long queues.

The technology of multispectral visualization of HID allows to receive images both from a surface, and from under the surface of skin in order that it was possible to read out all types of fingerprints of people of any age in cold, dry, dirty, wet and other difficult environmental conditions. Reliable detection of counterfeits allows the reader iCLASS SE RB25F to verify in real time authenticity of prints, including their accessory to the living person who physically is present at an authentication point.
For ensuring the maximum security the reader includes the built-in optical protection against unauthorized access and supports the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) protocol and also HID Seos technology for multilevel authentication between the reader and credentials.
Administrators of security systems can load the free HID Biometric Manager software product for setup and control of one or several readers iCLASS SE RB25F. 2015
HID Global iClass SE R90
In product assortment of HID Global company in September, 2015 there were readers iClass SE R90 which interact with smart cards at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, provide identification range to 400 mm and support technology of enciphering of SIO using digital signatures for data protection from making changes and cloning. The new reader of distant action can work with smart cards of different formats, including iClass SE and iClass Seos and to transfer data to the controller on protocols of Wiegand. Besides, HID iClass SE R90 uses a method of intellectual energy management and can execute bilateral data exchange with the controller under the OSDP protocol.
The strong body from polycarbonate with degree vlago-and dust protections of IP65 allows to operate the new reader in street conditions at external temperatures from -35 °C to +65 °C. For simplification of identification passenger and trucks at entrance/departure from the parking it is recommended to install not one reader of distant action, and two, but at different height. At the same time for reduction of electricity consumption up to 50% of R90 allows to activate the mode of intellectual energy management. The additional comfort of distant identification is provided with the LED indicator which informs the driver on a current status of the device.
Unlike the popular readers HID iClass SE R10-R40, the new R90 device provides the big range of reading of smart cards which is 400 mm for models of the iClass SE format to 5 times. Thanks to it, the reader of distant action can be used as the instrument of identification of users on entrances and departures from automobile parkings and in territories of industrial facilities. It should be noted that HID iClass SE R90 is mounted on objects similar to RFID models of distant action of the previous generations therefore passing the operating devices to more perfect control system of access it is possible just to replace with new highly protected.
High safety of data transmission between the reader iClass SE R90 and smart cards is provided by a multiple model of enciphering of SIO (Secure Identity Object). A core of SIO is the ciphered identification code of the carrier which in case of unauthorized interception looks as a set of accidental characters. In addition to it, data in SIO are protected by the digital signature thanks to what the reader of distant action can verify their authenticity and reveal possible changes. Because SIO can be placed on different carriers, as identifiers of a system of distant action based on R90 and other HID iClass SE devices of series R not only smart cards, but also mobile phones with the NFC chip (Near Field Communication) can be used.
The compatibility with smart cards of different formats does the reader R90 universal. It is not tied strictly to any technology of identification therefore "sees" different smart cards, including the iClass SE, DESFire SE EV and Mifare SE models of the last generation. During the work with cards of these standards the reader of distant action can transfer their unique codes to the controller in the Wiegand format. It is important that the sizes of the iClass SE R90 body correspond to standard mounting boxes which are used in the majority of the countries of the world thanks to what will install these devices of distant action rather simply and quickly.
As an option the reader R90 can keep in bidirectional contact with the ACS controller using the OSDP protocol (Open Supervised Device Protocol) which increases safety of data transmission between devices. Bilateral data exchange within the "reader of distant action — the ACS controller" system provides access control several advantages as provides effective condition monitoring of all reader devices in real time. Moreover, at the organization of the network ACS all information from the reader of distant action is transferred to the central server.
Reader iCLASS SE U90
On September 24, 2015 the HID Global company announced expansion of the iCLASS SE platform the solutions of a distant range working at the ultra-high frequency (UHF).
The solution give additional opportunities for opening of doors and gate in the parking at distance.
Reader iCLASS SE U90 (2015)
Readers of a distant range iCLASS SE and means of identification allow the organizations to integrate possibilities of access control in the building and on the parking on one card. The convenience of the solution is that access facilities can be read out even if the card holder is in the car at distance up to 5 m from the device reader.

2013: HID Global iCLASS SE Encoder
iCLASS SE Encoder is a product as a part of which the desktop solution for end users and a packet of tools for developers (DTK). By means of the uniform device it is possible to implement enciphering and to issue access cards.
On October 1, 2013 the HID Global company announced product output of iCLASS SE Encoder.
The product simplifies transition from the existing technologies of access to safer, adaptive and portable platform of access control HID Global iCLASS SE. Using iCLASS SE Encoder enciphering of a broad spectrum of the existing and future technologies is facilitated, there is a possibility of independent creation of keys, managements of them and setup of readers, using the HID Global iCLASS and SE Elite program programs.
iCLASS SE Encoder is the open solution giving the chance to the organizations to perform enciphering of different technologies of recognition of the personality among which there are Genuine HID and identification data of the third parties that allows to update easily used access cards for use them with the readers iCLASS SE.
The solution supports the platform Seos iCLASS SE, the iCLASS standard, the MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire EV1 systems. Besides, iCLASS SE Encoder is compatible to the HID Prox cards 125 MHz for coding of identification data of Prox and also transition from the HID Prox system to high-frequency technologies. Even in systems with high degree of protection users can place the data for access control in the protected object of Secure Identity Object (SIO), and then transfer it to the card. The HID Global company announced in September, 2012 expansion of the iCLASS® SE platform due to two new additions: the iCLASS Seos access cards meeting standards of the increased security, confidentiality and compactness and also supports of the standardized industry protocol Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for safe, bilateral communication between the interconnected devices.
