2020: Start of service of online consultations with doctors of clinics
At the end of June, 2020 the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan started service of online consultations with doctors of clinics. He earned from the iDoctor.kz platform and is created in cooperation with the Ministry of digital development, innovations and the aerospace industry and with Chocofamily holding.
Free service will connect the patient and the doctor by means of a chat, audio-or video conference if the patient wants to communicate to the district doctor "eye to eye".
According to the head of iDoctor.kz Davranbek Tashbayev, online consultations completely resolve issues of primary consultation when physical presence of the doctor and patient is not obligatory.
The new product will save from need to go to hospital to ask simple questions. For example, interpretation of analyses can quite be received online, – Tashbayev told. |
The president of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev from the very beginning of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic several times said that in the circumstances there have to be non-standard solutions, the adviser to the president for digitalization and the innovative technologies Bagdat Mussin says.
According to him, on state commission the head of state charged to implement quickly telemedicine elements, i.e. — to provide the population with remote medical consultations that the citizen, staying at home, could talk to the doctor by video conference, exchange files and be given assignments.
He added, as earlier doctors applied "remote medical consultations" using normal phones, WhatsApp or other messengers.
As the vice-minister of the Ministry of Health Olzhas Abishev reported, developers set the task to transfer clinic to digital space, to thereby protect citizens and medical staff from infection with a coronavirus.[1]
