Tests of iPASOLINK EX
On March 2, 2017 the JSC NEK Neva Kommunikatsionnye Sistemy company announced testing of the radio relay station iPASOLINK EX, joint with PJSC MTS.
Were tested in the northwest of the Russian Federation at distance between stations from 3 to 8 km in difficult weather conditions.
The weight of 3 kg, wide functionality of a system allows to reduce costs for its installation and connection. Function of bezobryvny adaptive modulation with dynamically changeable bandwidth of AMBR (Adaptive Modulation and Bandwidth Radio) allows to provide the maximum capacity of the channel in the conditions of the fog and rainfall complicating passing of radio waves.
Testing of the iPASOLINK EX model showed work indicators, and high transmission rate in difficult weather conditions. We were convinced that two flights in 4.8 km between stations provide capacity of 10 Gbps, and one flight 8.3 km long – the speed of 8.5 Gbps. It will allow us from three to 20 times to increase traffic transmission on radio relay lines at such distances. Thus, on remote base stations we will be able to involve completely the potential of equipment 3G and 4G and also to create a backlog for construction of 5G networks. |

iPASOLINK EX
For March 2, 2017 iPASOLINK EX is a digital radio relay system of data transmission.
iPasolink EX provides access to digital trunking and complex use of capacity of end-to-end modern networks on a radio frequency of 71-86 GHz with band width 250 MHz.
The radio relay station iPASOLINK EX is effective in places where laying of the optical cable is complicated or impossible, providing the capacity of a transport network comparable to cable capacitance.
The iPASOLINK EX system provides interface units and the local computer network (LCN) and maintains data transfer rate to 2000 Mbps with a width of channel of 250 MHz.
A system represents the separate completely mounted outdoor installation providing simultaneous connection of an Ethernet network.
The equipment works in the ranges which are not requiring a design of frequency assignments (The decision of SCRF No. 10-07-04-01/10-07-04-02 of 6/15/10)
Performance
- a set of schemes of modulation (from QPSK to 256QAM) with adaptive functioning (R1.5/R2.0: from QPSK to 256QAM);
- support of multiple ports GbE/FE: up to 3 ports;
