In Russia in 2014 the first cloud service for beauty shops appeared: the American company DigiLink Technology presented the solution iSalon which also in parallel advances in the market of the USA and for quite some time now in the market of Latvia. First Line Software became the technology partner on solution development.
As the CEO of DigiLink Technology Konstantin Polukhin told TAdviser, there are no direct analogs of iSalon in the Russian market, partially the functionality of the solution is repeated by the programs "Klach", "Arnika" and solutions on the platform of 1C, in the market of the USA there is a solution booker.
iSalon moves ahead through address sales and partnership with producers of cosmetics. DigiLink Technology already signed the partnership agreement with Estelle Cosmoprof company, the distributor perfumery both Estel cosmetics in St. Petersburg and area, providing deliveries of products of Estel more than in 2 thousand beauty shops.
Today in St. Petersburg more than 50 beauty shops use the iSalon program. In plans till December, 2014 – expansion of number of users in St. Petersburg up to 400 beauty shops and also entry into the market of Moscow. In Russia there are about 60 thousand beauty shops. About 6-8 thousand work in Moscow; 3 thousand work in St. Petersburg.
"It can seem strange, but saloon business is almost not covered by the automation equipment. The reason consists in a difficult business model of beauty shops. Besides, use of IT for salons became economically available only recently, with development of cloud solutions", - Konstantin Polukhin said.
By DigiLink Technology estimates the general market capacity can reach 1.5 billion rubles a month or about 18 billion rubles a year. Now, according to DigiLink Technology, the market is covered approximately for 10-15%.
Functionality of the solution
- iSalon automates all components of life activity of salon: record of clients, working schedules of masters, salary, control of an expense of products, loyalty program of clients, vendor interaction. Accumulated information will be transformed to operations and analytical reports for the management.

- The solution has cloud structure therefore access is provided via the normal web browser, from any device connected to the Internet: tablet, smarfon, notebook or PC. During creation solutions were used adaptive technologies which sort with what device they work (the computer, the tablet, the smartphone).
- A system is capable to keep account of supplies and to contact independently suppliers of cosmetics for the order of missing products.
- The functionality of the CRM system allows to save history of customer relations: systematicity of visits, date of the last visit, preference and solvency. iSalon can independently send to clients of a SMS reminder on need to glance in salon.
Terms of use
The subscription for the solution in volume "standard" costs 3000 rubles/month, in volume "professional" - 7000 rubles/month. Setup of the solution and introduction of data is paid one-time in the amount of 9600 rubles.
