"Inferit ITMen" 6.1 with section "Historical data"

Inferit has released an updated version of the IT infrastructure inventory and control software Inferit ITMen 6.1. Users can now quickly find and resolve infrastructure deviations, monitor device and software health over time, and make informed decisions about hardware and license upgrades. The product interface has become more convenient, and reports more informative, which simplifies the analysis of IT assets and budget planning for IT departments. Softline announced this on May 29, 2025.

In this version of the product, the "Historical Data" section was added, where you can track changes by IT assets. In the report on historical data "Device. And the "Installed Software" report makes it possible to track when and by whom the software was installed and removed. In the "Data Collection" section, support for group actions appeared. Now several employees can quickly update information on several devices at the same time. This is especially useful when working with large fleets of equipment. The interface of the section was supplemented by tables with flexible grouping, thanks to which it became easier to organize the data and quickly find the information you need.

Specialized software reports - "Number of users" and "Average usage" - have added fields with the results of tracking software use to help IT departments more accurately assess the demand for applications and make decisions about renewing or optimizing licenses. The Assets/Asset Settings section began to display the dates of completed tasks and the schedule of upcoming tasks, which is important for monitoring and planning work. And the "Devices" card now immediately shows the key characteristics: the processor model, the amount of RAM and disk space - convenient when everything is at hand.

For network inventory, Inferit ITMen was strengthened with support for ARP and LLDP protocols for Windows and Linux. Thanks to this, the client can more accurately and flexibly configure device and software discovery parameters for its infrastructure. The updated functionality of the product allows you to detect devices even in networks with limited standard protocols.

The developers have improved the stability of the system and the accuracy of the inventory. The automatically assigned device statuses are now maintained correctly even in complex accounting and discovery scenarios.

2015: Release of iTMan Inventory 3.4

iTMan Inventory 3.2

In December 2014, ITMan announced the release of version 3.2 of the tool for inventory and accounting of programs, equipment and licenses. This release supplemented the main inventory functionality with new user filters and a license management tool, as well as an improved software recognition function. iTMan Inventory 3.2 will show information on the number of license rights available for each software product. Maintaining a software change history will show which software products have appeared or been updated and which have been removed since the last inventory.

The storage product release uses Microsoft SQL Server. To work with iTMan Inventory and create a database, the user just needs to install Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express, available for free on the official Microsoft website.

On April 10, 2014, ITMan announced the release of a new release of iTMan Inventory 2.1.
