2025: Product Announcement

The French company Capsix Robotics on January 10, 2025 presented at an exhibition in Las Vegas a robotic massage system iYU with artificial intelligence, capable of scanning the client's body and selecting individual massage techniques.

According to The Independent, the system is equipped with a robotic arm and is capable of performing various types of massage, including point and deep muscle massage. The device uses a 3D scanner that registers more than 1 million points for comparison with the real position of the patient's body.

Robot masseur introduced

Artificial intelligence identifies key anatomical positions and stores data from each session, allowing regulars to receive personalized massages on subsequent visits. Machine learning technology is constantly improving algorithms for working with the body.

Users can adjust the intensity of exposure to robotic hands in case of excessive pressure. At the same time, it is noted that in some cases the system is inferior to a person-masseur in the accuracy of determining problem areas.

Aescape plans to install ten artificial intelligence robot massage tables in New York in the spring of 2024. In the future, the functionality will be expanded with the ability to indicate specific areas for massage and areas that require special attention due to injuries.

The iYU system is part of a trend to introduce artificial intelligence into personal service. At the same exhibition, Samsung unveiled the Ballie companion robot, which follows users and helps with everyday tasks.

The technology combines elements of robotization, artificial intelligence and 3D scanning to create a personalized massage experience. The system is constantly trained based on the collected data, which allows you to improve the quality of service.

In the future, it is planned to expand the functionality of the system and increase the number of installed devices. The developers continue to improve the algorithms and technical characteristics of the robot massage therapist.[1]
