History of technology
In November, 2013 the group of scientists of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the USA, under [1]announced creation of [2] technology which allows to interact physically with objects on that side of the screen.
In the provided model special Dynamic Shape Display displays which create 3D objects on the basis of digital data are used. On the website of scientists it is said that inForm also allows to transfer objects from the display to a table surface. For example, using this technology the removed participant of video conference can be displayed physically that creates the strongest effect of presence.
Scientists specify that development of inForm is only a step on the way of implementation of their original concept of "radical atoms" (radical atoms).
It is possible to examine work of technology on video in more detail:
Tangible Media Group Hiroshi Ishii professor heads [3], a principal object of researches of group – interaction of bits and atoms and also methods of giving of digital information of physical shape.
