In development of solutions Indeed Enterprise Authentication and Indeed Enterprise Single Sign-On spring of 2016 the Indeed SMS OTP Provider component intended for authentication of users using technology of the one-time passwords delivered to users in short text messages was implemented (SMS).
Being the communication channel available to all phones and not requiring acquisition and setup of additional devices, the SMS technology is applied to delivery of one-time passwords practically by all banks and other organizations processing data of users. Use of technology is much simpler, more convenient and cheaper in comparison with tokens or smart cards.
The one-time password, geneniruyemy Indeed SMS OTP Provider, represents a set of accidental characters consisting of digits and Latin letters. Generation of the one-time password is executed on the Indeed system server at the request of the user, then the password is transferred to service of mailing of the SMS which sends it on the user's phone in the form of the Sms.
