2025: Obtaining a certificate from the RCIS

InfoWatch Group received a certificate from the RCIS for a solution for protecting corporate mail - InfoWatch Gateway. The technology protects corporate data when working with personal devices without interfering with their work and personal data. InfoWatch announced this on December 18, 2025.

InfoWatch Group received a certificate from the Russian Center for the Circulation of Rights to Creative Results (RCIS) certifying the copyright for the scientific work "InfoWatch Gateway - control of corporate mail in BYOD mode, safe work with corporate data." The receipt of the document confirms the peculiarity and novelty of the developed technology.

InfoWatch Gateway technology is designed for organizations that need to meet information security requirements when employees use personal devices - the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy. The technology provides control over corporate email without the need to install agents on employees' smartphones, tablets and laptops.

InfoWatch Gateway streams traffic between the personal device and the corporate mail server through a dedicated server. The technology allows you to monitor and analyze work with corporate e-mail - receiving and sending letters, downloading attachments and working with drafts - at the protocol level without interfering with the operating system of the device. This allows security and DLP analysis policies to be applied to each event.

Thus, InfoWatch Gateway provides organizations with a mechanism for protecting corporate resources, while maintaining the familiar comfort of working with mail and protecting their personal data.

The InfoWatch Gateway solution ensures the security of corporate correspondence, even if employees work with personal gadgets. The technology does not need to install additional software on smartphones, tablets or laptops, which makes it a convenient tool for implementing the BYOD policy without compromising the confidentiality of the company's data, "commented Timur Galiulin, senior product development manager at InfoWatch Group and one of the authors of the development.
