2024: The ability to save a customized combination of filters as a template with a unique name
Innostage has updated the "Access Matrix" - a system for monitoring the current access rights of users to information systems. The solution now allows companies to save a customized combination of filters as a template with a unique name. The company announced this on December 17, 2024.
"Access Matrix" is a software product that combines part of the capabilities of IDM (Identity Management) and DAG (Data Access Governance) systems, which allows you to control user access rights at different levels. It can be used to check the access rights of users to information and file systems, database management systems (DMS).
The solution visualizes the existing matrix of user access to target resources and its deviations from the reference model. And also displays a retrospective of the assignment of access rights at certain periods of time, detects changes in them and notifies responsible specialists about these events.
Among the capabilities of the "Access Matrix" is the ability to save a customized combination of filters as a template with a unique name. The system now allows you to regularly receive reports by mail on configured filters.
For each resource type, including directory services MS Active Directory file servers and MS-based, the Windows system has created its own filter templates. This allows companies to save time when using regular audits of access rights by resource type.
Now the solution is able to track access rights changes in systems using filters, starting periodic tasks. In addition, it has the ability to identify unauthorized access to the resources of those users who are not part of MS Active Directory groups.
As part of the work on improving the solution, Innostage specialists fixed vulnerabilities in python packages of the system, fixed the display of current rights and the operation of filters while performing certain actions. This made the product even more reliable and convenient.
Analysts note that in the first nine months of 2024, about 200 large data leaks were recorded in Russia - twice as much as in the same period in 2023. One of the key tools to combat leaks remains user access control systems. Therefore, we are actively developing the "Access Matrix," improving its functionality, convenience and security level, - said Kirill Zheleznov, Product Director of Innostage. |
