"Institute of Model Solutions: Process production 8" - the solution intended for automation of any technology processes which are beyond assembly/discrete productions. Functionality of Institute of Model Solutions: Process production often it was demanded not only in chemical, metallurgical, processing, food, but also in many other, apparently, "discrete" industries. Whether the enterprise has a need of conducting material accounting for several units of measure, optimization production planning, drawing up a material balance, implementation of difficult warehouse transactions etc.? Whether the standard solution without completions provides the solution of these tasks? It is necessary to pay it attention before acquisition of a product and its implementation.
"Institute of Model Solutions: Process production 8" — the complete standard solution of an ERP class on the 1C 8 platform intended for creation of the automated control system for the enterprise (ACSE) and group (holding), including automation of tasks:
- Operational accounting of inventory items in production and in warehouses.
- Managerial financial accounting (including formation of managerial balance on several firms).
- Budgeting and cash management.
- The accounting and tax (regulated) accounting.
- Sales management.
- Production management (production planning).
- Purchase management.
- Document flow and management of flows of tasks.
The product is created based on successful projects of Institute of Model Solutions on automation of large enterprises with process type of production. The greatest effect of use of a configuration is gained at manufacturing enterprises of chemical and processing industry and also job order (project) productions, including with configuring of products under customer needs.
It is possible to carry to process production, for example, the following industries:
- Chemical industry.
- Production of construction materials.
- Food industry.
- Pharmaceutics.
- Metallurgy.
Range of application of a configuration — from the small enterprises to large production holdings. It is promoted by scalability of the solution, a possibility of multicorporate budgeting and accounting, special means for the organization of the distributed hierarchical database of holding, existence of technology control facilities of input and correctness of large volume of data
The configuration consists from enough simple function objects (standard documents and reference books, techniques, accounting schemes) which combination allows to design any schemes of business process automation, without finishing a configuration.
It is important to note that the specifics of business processes of the client — can be implemented on external software modules (processings). As a result of completion of the configuration on the project are minimum that practically excludes costs for loading of updates from the supplier of the solution. Actually in the standard solution the two-layer architecture is implemented:
- The layer of the main vendor – contains basic objects and mechanisms. It is supported by the main vendor.
- The customization layer – supports services of accomplishment of business processes, including interfaces, jobs, reports, means of logical control of actions of users, etc. It is supported by the firm which executed implementation.

Let's note the major functional features which will be interesting to the specialists who are engaged in implementation of automated systems on the platform of 1C.
The functionality of the solution of Institute of Model Solutions allows to solve many critical project tasks, without resorting to deep customization or to expensive more high-class ERP solutions:
- Multicorporate documentary and confirmable management accounting and managerial balance.
- Cultivation of operational and financial accounting on different subsystems, financial accounting on several organizations on the basis of detailed operational accounting.
- Optimization production planning with automatic calculation of schedules of operation of the equipment, using elements of APS algorithms and accounting of specifics of process (continuous) production.
- Expanded structure of the warehouse transactions especially demanded in production (gravies, mixing, drying, repacking, a recomplete set, different adjustments).
- Inventory control by warehouse cells and packagings (taromest).
- Accounting at the same time in two independent units of measure; accounting in different units in a warehouse and in production.
- Ready models of use of barcoding in warehouse and production operations.
- Tracking of a product structure by raw materials batches, tracking of measurement of characteristics of stocks eventually.
- Data for the marginal analysis, for example, calculation of actual cost of implementation only regarding variable production and commercial costs.
- Planned product cost calculation taking into account budgeted fixed costs (general production, general economy).
- Expanded instruments of the automated address overhead allocation and calculation of actual product cost.
- Indiscriminateness to the sequence of carrying out warehouse and production documents.
- Setup of access rights in a user mode without involvement of the programmer.
- Creation of any reporting without programming.
- Unlimited number of firms and the analyst in a budgeting subsystem and any forms of budgets.
- For "operational holdings" — flexible configuration of data migration (documents, reference books) between nodes of a distributed database.
The solution can be used not only at the enterprises with process type of production. Practice of the executed projects shows that possibilities of the solution are demanded also at the enterprises of mechanical engineering, instrument making and the other discrete industries.
It is connected with the fact that on any large enterprise elements of process production irrespective of the industry, as a rule, meet. And the process (continuous) technology imposes special requirements to many subsystems – from production planning to cost accounting.
