IntelliSpace PACS DCX is a medical transmission system and archivings of images.
The product supports different methods of visualization and the direction of medicine in which a broad set of software tools and opportunities is implemented. A system helps to work with data from any place in the presence of the Internet.
IntelliSpace PACS DCX allows to browse images via the web interface, provides a possibility of mailing of results of researches out of limits of medical institution taking into account the politician of access rights.
Simple management, integration into the operating information and technology infrastructure. A system is installed on the normal computer hardware meeting the minimum requirements without additional costs.

2018: Detection of vulnerabilities
In April, 2018 Philips Healthcare was recognized in existence of vulnerabilities in the software intended for transfer and archiving of medical images (PACS).
Philips Healthcare and command of the emergency response to cyber attacks of industrial management systems of the Ministry of national security (ICE-CERT) published recommendations about security of the Philips ISite and IntelliSpace PACS systems.
Philips confirmed that all versions of these devices contain weak points in terms of security, mainly in the components provided by the third-party companies. According to Philips, iSite and IntelliSpace PACS are used in 30 countries worldwide. In case of cyber attack these weak points can compromise access to confidential data and also integrity and/or system availability.
In spite of the fact that Philips did not receive complaints, the Center of national cyber security and communications of the USA undertook assessment of these weak spots in all organizations using these technologies. Philips suggested clients to install the anti-virus application for permanent monitoring and processing of threats of all program systems. The company also provides monthly renewed IntelliSpace PACS program patch which corrects the occurred errors.
In general, Phillips offers clients several options of elimination of these weak points. All services are provided free of charge on the standard contract of Philips with a full range of services. The simplest option - to be registered in the program of the renewed corrections of Philips which will allow to eliminate 86% of all famous weak spots. Additional updating of a firmware of a system which eliminates 87% of all famous weak spots, including all critical points is considered more reliable option. If the client updates a system to the version of IntelliSpace PACS 4.4.55x, it will eliminate 99.9% of all famous weak spots.[1]
